I've been using for two months and do not regret the purchase at all! It's everything the descriptions says it is. Compared to the other double strollers out there, it is very light weight and compact when folded. It's also exceptionally maneuverable. I can whip it around racks and thru doors one handed. I've done quite a bit of shopping with it and discovered that it does very well in the malls. It fits through all of the single door entrances in the mall -- from the main doors to dressing rooms to restrooms. It also does just fine in most of the stores aisles. Some stores jam racks in so tight that it's difficult to walk thru by yourself, regardless of having a stroller, but that can't be helped.I really debated about going straight to an umbrella-style stroller rather than purchasing a full size one. The two drawbacks to doing that are this: can't snap an infant car seat into the... I debated about going with this model (Triumph) or going with the more expensive model (Techno). When the stroller first arrived I immediately thought that the material for the seats seemed kind of cheap from what I'm used to. The seat itself is also a poor design -- when my child leans forward, the back of the seat pulls forward too! And when using the reclining feature, your child is either upright or completely laid back - there is no in between. Like any double stroller it is a little harder to manuever, but all in all it provides a soft, safe, comfy ride. Not bad for $200, but if I had to do it over again I would spend the extra money and get the Maclaren Techno! 17 of 18 people found the following review helpful Room for double stroller and suitcase in my car's trunk!, By Emily E (Saskatoon, SK Canada) - See all my reviews This review is from: Maclaren Twin Triumph Stroller (Baby Product) I've got a 2 year old and a 6 month old. I was looking for a double stroller that would accommodate both of them, while fitting comfortably in the trunk of my car. We do a lot of traveling, so having a stroller that fills my entire trunk just wouldn't do. This stroller is working out great. When folded up It is actually smaller than the single Graco stroller we had before. It is nice and narrow, maneuvering really well in tight spaces (as compared to other double strollers). It also handles well, even with one side caring the weight of a large 2 year old and the other side carrying only a 6 month old. Even if my 2 year old wants to get out and walk a bit, it handles nicely while carrying only our 6 month old. Downsides? Well, the instructions for assembly were not great. They only gave diagrams, and a little extra clarification would have been great. Fortunately there wasn't much to assemble. Also, opening it is a little difficult at first. You definitely need shoes on,... Read more |
