5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for Baby Jogger CITY SELECT Double seats, February 18, 2011

I want and need a stroller bag, but the baby jogger city select bag is around $80. When I found this bag on sale for $25, I took it out in the store and was suprised to see my CITY SELECT stroller fit in perfectly, and with room to spare. It will easily fit the stroller, and the two seats, and stroller accessories. I needed to take one wheel, but that isn't a big deal. they easily snap on and off, and i actually prefer that to protect them more. A little heavy to carry with shoulder strap, but not so bad with handles. No big deal to put it on a luggage cart. Awesome way to protect my $$$$ stroller.

2.0 out of 5 stars A review/warning for BOB owners, July 8, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase( What's this?)
This review is from: JL Childress Standard and Dual Stroller Travel Bag, Black (Baby Product)
Given that the official BOB stroller bag is well over $100, and that this bag says it compatible with the BOB, I thought I'd give it a shot. Big mistake. While the bag is quite large, it is not large enough to fit a BOB unless you take all three wheels off. And once in the bag, I had no doubt that in that state our BOB would not survive a single flight.

It should be noted that the bag is simply a very large duffle bag. From the picture I assumed it had either some light padding or at some structural elements (e.g. rigid corners/edges) to help it hold its shape. Alas no, so the bag offers just slightly more protection than double bagging in heavy duty garbage bags (i.e. protect the contents from grime and abrasion). While that would be more than okay for our umbrella stroller or snap-n-go (which have a lot more plastic), given the important bits that stick out of a folded BOB (especially the flat metal shock brackets and front fork) I would be more surprised than not... 5.0 out of 5 stars Fabulous Travel Bag, August 18, 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: JL Childress Standard and Dual Stroller Travel Bag, Black (Baby Product)
I absolutely love this travel bag. I had purchased another bag which was more expensive, but hated it. I bought this Target bag a few months ago and we have used it on 3 long plane trips already. I own a Graco Metrolite stroller (travel system-not a dual stroller) and the bag is perfect with room to spare for things like diapers and such. This bag has held up well and we even spoke with one of the baggage handlers as he was taking it for a gate check and he said he wishes everyone had a bag like that because it's so much easier for them to load. I highly recommend this bag and for the price you can't beat it.

5.0 out of 5 stars I agree, it is the best for the price., January 1, 2010
After owning it for two weeks, and navigating it through several airports, I am very happy with this stroller. I did a lot of research before purchasing it. I wanted a stroller that was smaller and easier to manage than the (used) Graco LiteRider that I had been using, but still a little more than just a standard umbrella stroller. This stroller fit the bill. (I've been using this stroller with my 10 month old who is 22 lbs and 28 inches).

PROS:
*Rolls very smoothly
*Navigates and turns very easily. I can easily push it with only one hand (when necessary) on indoor surfaces and sidewalks. Sorry, haven't tried it outdoors yet, other than sidewalks, so I can't comment there.
*Light enough to lift and move one-handed without difficulty.
*TRUE one-handed fold. You really CAN fold it, then lift it, with only one hand, and it is very easy and natural after just a little "practice"
*Reclines. Not to a fully horizontal position, but to a do-able... Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Price, Great Stroller, February 20, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase( What's this?)
I had my doubts about this stroller because of the low price (*Keep an eye on the price because it fluctuates*). However, after reading all the reviews and specifications, I decided to give it a try even though I am 6' tall. The Amazon ordering experience was top notch. When the stroller arrived it came in the original box from the manufacturer, pictures and all. I found the assembly to be very easy, the basic instructions gave me all the direction I needed, and the stroller was up and running in about 15 minutes.

I decided to test my primary worry, the height. When unfolded, the stroller handles came to just about 38 inches. I was able to stand comfortably and easily push the stroller without straining my back. Now, of course if you stand completely straight up (at 6'), you will begin to feel yourself reaching that maximum safe comfort zone. Still though, I found it acceptable. The stroller is considerably light, and has a quality appearance. The Jeep branding certainly... Read more

3.0 out of 5 stars Alright, June 6, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase( What's this?)
After reading all the good reviews and considering the price, I ordered this for my 7 month old daughter. The good part is - this stroller is light weight, easy to assemble and move around. However during our very first trip to the mall I noticed that our daughter likes to lean her head to the side. This stroller does not have a head support flap, so my baby's head is actually leaning against the metal rod; not good. Also, the material is plastic like ( polymer) and tends to not dissipate body heat. I decided to buy a padded body support from a local store for this stroller but instead bumped onto a better stroller: Graco LiteRider, which I ended up ordering from amazon (this is much better and the price is almost the same). I am going to return this jeep stroller back.

5.0 out of 5 stars This is a fabulously cheap convenience stroller that I don't kick!!!, February 25, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase( What's this?)
I have a 2 year old boy and a 4 year old girl. I've gone through 5 other strollers, including a Peg and a Combi. I chose to purchase this one to have a convenient, truly lightweight stroller with a 5 point harness. If it's not 5 point, it simply doesn't do its job in restraining my busy children.

I just received this stroller after ordering twice and having it delayed in shipment. I was a little concerned to order as it isn't available in stores and there are no reviews since it is brand new. But I am pleasantly surprised. First off the only assembly is snapping on the 4 wheels and snapping the sun shade into place which takes all of 5 minutes.

It is tall enough for me to comfortably push around without having to awkwardly bend forward to avoid kicking the wheels, and no stooping as the handles fit me well (I'm 5'7"). Yay!! The wheels are foam with a little give, but not as cushy as air. I doubt this stroller will work for off road, but will do fine on... Read more

3.0 out of 5 stars Should have gotten another "Jet", June 25, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase( What's this?)
I purchased this stroller because we had to leave our "The First Years Jet" at home when I went to live with family while my husband was deployed. I absolutely loved the Jet, but I thought the Ignite would be slightly better (more comfortable ride etc.) because of the price difference/description.
Unfortunately, the canopy does not adjust (at all) like the one on the Jet version. The description should be changed because it states it has a "fully adjustable canopy"....unless you consider "fully adjustable" the fact that you can open and close it!
We have an extremely pale child, so it was one of the major selling points for me. Unfortunately, I do not have time to order the Jet and return the Ignite, so we will just have to improvise!
**Except for the canopy** the pros and cons here also describe "The First Years Jet" version we started with:

Pros:

- looks very nice and well built (the Khaki color is attractive and great for... Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars I'm Sure I Made the Right Choice!, April 4, 2010
I did a lot of reading and searching for just the right stroller now that we are out of the "baby" phase.

My checklist included: must recline, have 5 point harness (I have a daredevil who has not yet met a 3 point harness he can't defeat), parent tray, work for BOTH my boys (a 3 yr old and a nearly 1 yr old) and have a basket.

Pros:
My biggest PRO is that it goes up to 50 lbs. My 3 yr old is 35lbs, which is the weight limit on most lightweight strollers.

Reclines just enough to allow sleeping without the head bob.

5 point harness keeps my younger son in the seat!

Has several height adjustments for the harness.

Good size sun shade.

Has a foot rest.

Parent tray!

Very lightweight.

Basket holds just enough, without being too large or too small (I hang my diaper bag over the handles).

The material (at least up where the parent tray is) is liquid resistant--water... Read more
